1. Who we are

Nuvabill is made by RapidNet Ltd, a company in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean RapidNet Ltd. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover the website nuvabill.com, the live demo at demo.nuvabill.com, and downloading Nuvabill. The Nuvabill software itself comes with its own license, explained in section 3. By using the website or the demo, you agree to these terms.

3. The Nuvabill software license

Nuvabill is free software under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later (AGPL-3.0), with one additional term: the "Powered by Nuvabill" credit in the client area, invoices and emails must stay visible. The full text is in the LICENSE and NOTICE files that come with every download.

• You may use Nuvabill for your business, with any number of clients, without paying us.
• You may change it and share it under the same license.
• If you run a changed version for other people over a network, the AGPL asks you to offer them the source code of your changes.

A paid white-label license that removes the credit will be a separate written agreement between you and us.

4. No warranty

Nuvabill is free and is given "as is", without any warranty, as the license says. Before you use it with real customers, test it with your own products, payment gateways and servers, and keep regular backups. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your business, for example on taxes, invoices and data protection.

5. Your installation and your customers

When you install Nuvabill, it runs on your server. We cannot see or access your installation or your customers' data. You are responsible for your installation, your customers' data, and your own terms of service and privacy policy. Nuvabill has settings where you add links to your own terms and privacy policy.

6. Using the live demo

The demo is for trying Nuvabill. Its data resets every hour, it sends no email, and it takes no real payments. When you use it, please do not:

• enter real personal information, passwords you use elsewhere, or real card details;
• try to break, overload, scan or attack the demo or the website;
• use it to send spam or to store illegal or harmful content.

We may block access that breaks these rules. The demo may be changed or offline at any time.

7. The Nuvabill name and logo

"Nuvabill" and the Nuvabill logo belong to RapidNet Ltd. You may say that your service is "powered by Nuvabill" or "based on Nuvabill". Do not use the name or logo in a way that makes people think a changed version, or your service, is the official Nuvabill or comes from us.

8. Other websites

Downloads, issue reports and sponsorships happen on GitHub, and the website is delivered by Cloudflare. Their own terms apply when you use them.

9. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, RapidNet Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption, that comes from using the website, the demo or the software. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website or the demo after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and the federal laws of Iraq where they apply. If we cannot solve a disagreement by talking, it goes to the competent courts of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
